Chikinini Nakakamatay
BINATILYO NAMATAY DAHIL SA 'LOVE BITE' NG GF
Namatay ang isang binatilyo makaraang ma-stroke na dulot umano ng love bite o chikinini ng kanyang girlfriend.
Ayon sa Mexican media ay inatake ng kombulsyon ang 17-anyos na si Julio Macias Gonzalez habang kumakain ng hapunan kasama ang kanyang pamilya.
Bagamat agad dumating ang mga paramedics para saklolohan ang binatilyo ay hindi na ito nasagip pa.
Pinaniniwalaan ng mga eksperto na namatay ito dahil sa blood clot na namuo dahil sa chikinini na umabot na sa kanyang utak dahilan ng kanyang pagkaka-stroke.
Matapos ang insidente ay hindi na nagpakita pa ang kanyang girlfriend na ngayon ang siyang sinisisi ng pamilya ng binata sa pagkamatay nito.
Taong 2011 ng isang 44-anyos na babae ang na-paralysed matapos ma-stroke sa kaparehas na insidente.
Hindi na niya naigalaw ang kanyang kaliwang braso matapos ang romantic encounter.
Nakarekober naman ang nasabing babae mula sa blood clot na sanhi ng chikinini.

Duterte sets conditions for online gambling to resume
MANILA – President Rodrigo Duterte said on Wednesday he would allow online gambling to resume if correct taxes are paid and operations are moved away from schools and churches.
Duterte also renewed his criticism against PhilWeb Corp. owner Roberto Ongpin as an “oligarch” who must be stopped. The gaming café operator suspended operations earlier this month after regulators refused to renew its license.
“Ibabalik ko [I will restore] yung online, provided taxes are correctly collected and they are situated or placed in the districts where gambling is allowed, which means to say not within the church distance, schools, papayag ako [I will allow it],” Duterte told reporters.
“Itong online, galit ako kasi nag-sprout everywhere [This online, I am angry because it sprouted everywhere]… Kaya ako nagalit kasi pati yung mga bata naglalaro na [I got angry because even the children were playing],” he said.
Duterte’s attack prompted Ongpin to resign as PhilWeb chairman. The tycoon then offered to donatealmost his entire stake 53.76-percent stake in the company to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) to avoid laying off his employees but was rebuffed.
Earlier Wednesday, PhilWeb proposed setting up a text lottery to replace its gaming café business.
Also on Wednesday, Duterte said he planned to use Pagcor’s annual earnings of P30 billion to P35 billion to provide free medicine to the poor.
Government-run drug stores, called “Botika ng Bayan,” will be set up in poor communities, he said.

How to Fix GPS Signal Not Found
GPS errors? First, make sure GPS is enabled!
Many Android phones come with their GPS radios turned off by default in order to save battery life, since the technology is very battery-intensive. Here's how to turn it on.
Note: This example was done on a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, but these steps should apply to most Android devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher.
- Tap on your phone's Settings icon or access Settings through Quick Settings.
- Scroll down to Privacy and safety. Tap on it.
- Tap on Location.
- Make sure Location toggle is in the on position.
- Tap on Locating method. This may also be called Location mode.
- Tap GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks. This may also be called High accuracy.
- Ensure that Wi-Fi is also turned on throughout the game, even if your phone is not connected to a network.
Pokémon Go uses both local Wi-Fi (also known as Assistive GPS), your closest mobile network tower, and GPS satellites to accurately place you in the game world. Turning on just Wi-Fi and mobile network-based location tracking will make your character jump around and less likely to be placed close to Pokémon.
Still getting an error even with GPS enabled?
GPS satellites are finicky things. While the radios inside Android phones have improved significantly over the last few years, they're still not perfect, and may sometimes have trouble locating you, especially indoors.
If you're still getting GPS errors even after turning everything on, take a step outside and hold your phone steady for around 30 seconds. That should allow the GPS satellites to lock onto your phone and get things back to normal.
Can you still play the game without GPS?
Yes! If you don't have a phone with GPS, or are using a Wi-Fi tablet that doesn't have a GPS radio, it's still possible to play Pokémon Go. Unfortunately, the experience won't be as good, since you'll need to be in areas that have strong Wi-Fi signals, such as restaurants, bars, coffee shops, or other businesses, that you can connect to. Since Pokémon Go relies on having an internet connection, it will be able to locate you with just a Wi-Fi signal — just don't expect to compete on the same level as your Android phone-wielding friends.
Getting a driving warning when you're not actually driving?
That's a GPS problem! It's called GPS drift and it is usually caused when your phone can't latch onto a strong GPS signal while indoors. The quick fix is to turn on Wi-Fi, or to get close to a window, which will make it easier for a satellite to lock onto your GPS location.

Duterte urged to release wood shipment for ‘Yolanda’ shelters
A nongovernment organization advocating community-based disaster response has called on President Rodrigo Duterte to order the release of wood shipment held in a Cebu port since December 2015 for the construction of shelters for the victims of Supertyphoon “Yolanda” (Haiyan) in 2013.
In a letter to Duterte, the Citizens’ Disaster Response Center Foundation, Inc. (CDRC) sought for an exemption from taxes and duties and storage fees for the shipment of pinewood for phase 2 of its ongoing project with Germany’s DiakonieKatastrophenhilfe (DKH).CDRC said the project’s second phase would provide 303 typhoon-resistant houses in barangays (villages) San Roque, Buenavista and Macanip in Jaro, Leyte, while the first phase had already turned over 297 houses to beneficiaries in 6 barangays in November last year.
The NGO said they were granted tax and duties exemption for the phase 1 of the project under Presidential Memorandum Order No. 36 in 2014 through a one-stop-shop (OTS) created by the government for donations for Yolanda survivors.
“The processing took only one day. So for the Phase 2 of the project, we also requested for an exemption granted in 2014 for the pinewood used in Phase 1. However, this time there is no OTS anymore and so we had to process the exemption through the different government departments and agencies concerned,” CDRC executive director Christie Jamoralin said in the letter.
“For the Phase 2 of the project, DKH sent 3 shipments of pinewood to the Port of Cebu en route to Ormoc City then Jaro, Leyte: 1st shipment arrived on Dec. 9, 2015, 2nd shipment arrived on February 3, 2016 and the 3rd shipment arrived on May 18,2016,” she added.
CDRC said it started processing the request for exemption for the first shipment through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the previous administration last Dec. 14, 2015, but has not received a response since.
“We waited for more than six months for the previous government to grant the tax exemption and waiver of storage fees but to no avail. Even several follow up from the Embassy of Germany, through the request of our donors, did not produce positive results… Meanwhile, the houses being constructed are awaiting completion. Rainy days have officially started and Typhoon Yolanda survivor beneficiaries of the project still have no permanent homes to protect them,” Jamoralin said.
“Mr. President, we would now like to request you for an exemption from taxes and duties for the shipment of pinewood for the shelter project as well as for a waiver in the storage fees at the Port of Cebu so that the shipment can be released soon. It is our fervent hope and prayer that with your policy of delivering quick service to those in need these can be granted,” she added.
The group had also written letters to former President Benigno Aquino III, former and incumbent DSWD secretaries Corazon “Dinky” Soliman and Judy Taguiwalo, and Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco Jr., among others. IDL
